Introducing Westpower-U Rotating Equipment Training

This year, the morning of our annual Pig Roast in Calgary will be different and a lot more hands-on.

We are proud to launch Westpower-U, a half-day rotating equipment training event designed for engineers, operators and maintenance professionals who want practical learning and a chance to support a great cause.

Choose from one of four technical courses:

• Pumps 101: Fundamentals and design principles
• Reliability and Lubricants 101: Fundamentals of pump health assessment
• Seals 101: Field-proven insight on failures and installation
• Industrial Mixers 101: Mixing fundamentals and best practices

Each course includes:

• Three hours of technicallearning
• Live equipment demonstrations with Westpower subject matter experts
• APEGA-eligible professional development hours
• Small group format with 10 to 15 participants per course
• $500 per seat with proceeds donated to CP Kids and Families

This is a rare opportunity to invest in your team’s professional development while giving back. Proceeds from course registrations will be donated to CP Kids and Families, our Pig Roast charity partner supporting children with disabilities in Alberta. Our goal is to raise $75,000 by September 30, 2025.

And of course, the Pig Roast kicks off at 5 PM. Join us for a full day of learning, community and connection.
