Westpower is pleased to announce a new partnership with Summit Pump, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of high-quality centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. This collaboration expands Westpower’s product offering and enhances our ability to deliver full-lifecycle rotating equipment solutions to clients, from supply and installation to maintenance and optimization.
Backed by over 40 years of manufacturing expertise, Summit Pump is known for simple, reliable, and cost-effective process pump solutions. One of Summit’s key strengths is its extensive inventory of stocked components and assemblies, which allows it to ship complete pumps within just a few weeks. This helps reduce lead times and minimize downtime for critical operations.
Westpower will now represent Summit’s full line of ANSI and industrial process pumps, including two of their most in-demand models:
- The 2196 Series ANSI pump and Clark 3 Series ANSI pump – these efficient, back pull-out process pump lines provide long service life and full dimensional and functional interchangeability, allowing customers to replace worn existing ANSI equipment with confidence.
- The 2175 Series heavy-duty stock process pump – designed for demanding industrial processes, such as paper stock, waste treatment, or services involving pulp, solids, or high-viscosity fluids.
These pumps are proven performers in industries such as mining, chemical processing, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment, and food and beverage, where reliable equipment and quick delivery can make all the difference.
“Our customers value performance, reliability, and serviceability, and Summit delivers on all three,” said Dave Goddard, President of Westpower. “This partnership strengthens our mission to reduce total cost of ownership while increasing equipment reliability and uptime.”
As part of Westpower’s integrated offering, Summit’s slurry pumps will be supported by in-house engineering, field service, repair and overhaul capabilities, inventory management, and reliability solutions, delivered locally across Western Canada.
