The WPV-B is a flexibly coupled pump incorporating a heavy-duty steel bearing housing to carry the loads generated by the impeller, thereby eliminating additional loads on the motor bearings and allowing the use of standard design motors. Duplex 40°, back-to-back, angular contact thrust bearings, and a cylindrical roller radial bearing provide a basic L10 rating of 25,000 hours continuous operation at rated conditions. The housing is sealed with labyrinth bearing isolators and is supplied for grease or oil mist lubrication.

Materials Full Carbon Steel construction, or Duplex SS construction are available as standard options. Alternate metallurgy such as 12% Chrome (410 SS), 316 SS, and other materials are available upon request.

  • Static and dynamically balanced to ISO G1.0 (4W/n)
Shaft Solid, one-piece sleeveless design for increased shaft stiffness (L3/D4) and reduced shaft deflection and vibration.
